Junior Chamber is a non-profit organization of men and women between the ages of 18 and 40, whose members dedicate their lives to making a difference in the lives of others while gaining valuable leadership and management skills in the areas of management, community service, business, international involvement and individual development.

The Jaycees Creed, used by every Jaycee chapter in the world, represents our beliefs and says much about this exceptional organization. The Jaycee Creed was authored by C. William Brownfield of central Ohio, who was laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus, Ohio. The following words, which appear on his Greenlawn Memorial, are invoked during every Jaycee meeting.

We Believe...

That Faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;

That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;

That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;

That government should be of laws rather than of men;

That earth's great treasure lies in human personality;

And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
